"I think the purpose, at least for me, of any art is to leave us something elegant that enriches our spirit, touches our heart, probes our intellect and improves the human condition……….
Don't take the easy way out! Get away from the tube occasionally. Read great books; read great literature; go to the museums."

Six ways you can help support
the KSS Music Department
Attend both evenings of the KSS Encore Concert
Purchase two or more tickets for each night. Proceeds from this event fund necessary operations, such as festival entry fees and equipment repair and replacement, to name a few.
Donate items or services for the Encore silent auction
Personal and corporate donations are welcome. All proceeds go directly to the music department. The silent auction is held in the lobby during encore (february 16th and 17th). Please contact Sheila French with your donation ideas.
Parents’ help and support allow the music department to function better, providing a better experience for our youth. The instructors need help with organizing events, fundraising and chaperoning, allowing them to focus on teaching music.
Business and personal donations are greatly appreciated. Donations help support the programs not covered by the school budget and allow us to make necessary upgrades to musical instruments and equipment. If you are interested in helping, please contact Sheila French.
Adopt a musical project
Take your passion in Fine Arts a step further and adopt a musical project at KSS that is dear to your heart. Contact Sheila French for ideas and details.
Keep supporting and encouraging your kids
Thank you parents for all the early drop offs and late pickups to accommodate practices outside the timetable. And thank you for helping your kids with practice and lesson routines at home. Our young musical students improve and thrive with family support and encouragement.
